Ski schools in Switzerland: 48 % increase in online bookings

February 2017 brought nice increases for all ski schools that are bookable online. On average, it was a plus of 30.73%. However, the Swiss ski schools were outstanding this time. They achieved the largest increase in sales with plus 48.43 %. 

A big contributor is newcomer Bettmeralp.

Switzerland's top 5 in online ski course bookings were:

  1. Saas-Fee Ski School
  2. Leukerbad Ski School
  3. Bettmeralp Ski School
  4. Cool School Lötschental
  5. Ski School Klosters

Nevertheless, the Swiss still have a long way to go in e-commerce. The Scandinavians still have the highest online share and in absolute terms for the 2016 / 17 season, the Salzburg ski schools lead all ski schools serviced by Waldhart Software.

The average sales are generally declining, because mostly more small than large ski schools are added each year.
