Impressive performance at the Ötztal Cycling Marathon

For the third summer in a row, Philip Handl has been working in the web department of Waldhart Software. This year he also supported our team for a few hours per week in addition to his community service.

Philip helps the web team in all possible areas, no matter if it's maintenance of the websites or writing manuals. Also some lighter programming tasks fall into his area of responsibility. Since Philip is very interested in programming and has a lot of fun with it, he will start studying computer science at the University of Innsbruck in the fall. There, he will hopefully be able to benefit from the experience he has gained at our company and in return use his newly acquired knowledge in his work at Waldhart Software.

At Waldhart Software, Philip particularly appreciates the flexible working hours and the positive attitude and understanding towards sports. After all, when Philip is not in the office, he is out and about on his mountain bike or racing bike. And the hard training pays off!

Just last Sunday, Philip was able to impress at the Ötztal Cycling Marathon with a sensational time of 7:31.19,4, improving by 11 minutes compared to last year. As one of the youngest participants, Philip showed a top performance and was able to prevail in the huge field of participants (4000 starters) and take an impressive 45th place, only 34 minutes behind the winner. In addition, Philip impressed by already being in the office on time the following day (of course with his blue compression socks for the perfect regeneration of his walls) and diligently returning to his work.

Philip has further successes to show, among others, at the Zillertal Bike Challenge. In addition, he will have the chance to qualify for the next Mountain Bike World Championships in the coming season. Philip, we will keep our fingers crossed for you and wish you every success! And should it not work out with the professional career, we would welcome you at any time as a fixed component in our team.
