Heat free at the Sonnkarköpfl

To escape the heat a bit and take advantage of the nice weather, we took a short break from our office in Pfaffenhofen and went on a hike together to the Sonnkarköpfl in the northern Stubai Alps.

On the tour, we not only had the opportunity to exchange ideas with each other, but also to get to know the surroundings better.

The starting point of our tour was the Oberhofer Melkalm, the destination the imposing summit cross on the Sonnkarköpfl. On parts of the route we were surprised by friendly cows and horses. Our efforts were rewarded by a beautiful view of the Inn valley and purple slopes full of alpine roses. At the end of our hike, we stopped for refreshments at the Oberhofer Melkalm, where we were served excellent food.
