Growth in online stores at 27 %

The online stores of the ski schools are doing very well. Targets that were valid for the entire season a few years ago are now already being achieved in November.

But how well are things really going this year?
Veronika Wenger has evaluated the current figures for November, which we present here.
Never trust a statistic that you haven't falsified yourself!


Therefore a few premises
We only used the ski schools that already had a store last year, i.e. no new ones from 2016.
We have differentiated between growth in bookings and growth in sales.
By Austria we mean the 7 federal states without Tyrol and Salzburg, which are on their own level in terms of ski school technology. Sorry Vorarlberg and Carinthia :-(
By autumn we understand this time the months September, October and November.

To the result
In autumn 2016, there was an increase of 22% in the number of bookings and 27% in revenue

Salzburg remains the strongest in terms of sales. The relationship between the regions can be seen in the pie chart.
The total turnover this fall was 10.44 million euros with almost 30 thousand bookings. Thus, the average shopping cart is worth 360.47 EUR. In 2015, it was still at EUR 347.
The share of bookings made via the store for mobile devices was 14.8%.
The season has already started well on the Internet, it has also become cold, the snowmaking is running at full speed, now the snow and the guests can come!
